I am the Machine

Nina has received funding from Culture Ireland through the Zeitgeist Irland 24  programme to produce her Music Drama-folk opera, 'I am the machine' - November 29/30- December 1st 2024 in Dock 11, Berlin.

'I am the machine' seeks meaning in a distrustful society, embracing the innovations of technology while in bed with branding and commercialism.

Am I human, am I becoming something else.

Is there anything left we can't sell. I just bought you and sold you back to yourself and your life is endlessly better now, Now, NoW, noW, nOw.

Nina’s song ‘Baby Alive’ appeared in the soundtrack of ‘Sisi und Ich’. A new film by Frauke Finserwalder premiered in the Berlinale Film Festival 2023.

In honour of International Women's Day, Nina performed with the National Symphony Orchestra in The National Concert Hall Dublin on March 8th.

 The award-winning conductor and composer Eímear Noone conducted an original concert production honoring the life of Gráinne Mhaol, famed pirate queen who headed the O' Maille dynasty of the west of Ireland in the face of British incursion.
